Service

Discharge and transfer transport, arranged the same day.

When a patient is ready for discharge, transport should not be what holds the bed. Our dispatch is staffed continuously, so a vehicle can be confirmed while you are still on the call.

For discharge planners

You need a van, a time, and confirmation you can write in the notes. We give you all three on the phone rather than a callback.

  • Phone answered 24 hours, including overnight and holidays
  • Confirmed pickup window given while you're on the call
  • Direct to home, a retirement residence or a long-term care home
  • Billed to your facility's account — no paperwork at the bedside

For families

If you are collecting a family member and cannot accommodate their wheelchair in your own vehicle, contact us directly. No account is required for a single trip.

Common questions

How quickly can you get here?

It depends what is already on the road. Call and we will tell you straight away what we can do — we would rather give you a real answer than a hopeful one.

Can you take someone home at night?

Yes. Overnight is a normal part of this service, not an exception we charge extra to make.

Do you transfer between hospitals?

Yes, provided the patient does not need clinical care en route. If they do, that is an ambulance transfer, not us.
