Wheelchair-accessible transport across Windsor-Essex.
We move people who use wheelchairs to appointments, treatments, discharges and home again — safely, on time, and in their own chair.
What we do
Every CarePoint vehicle is a ramp-equipped accessible van. Passengers stay in their own wheelchair for the whole trip — no transfers, no lifting, no improvising.
Wheelchair-accessible rides
Ramp entry, level boarding and proper securement, with door-through-door help at both ends.
Appointments & treatment
Dialysis, specialist visits and imaging, including standing weekly bookings.
Discharges & transfers
Short-notice pickups when a bed is needed, and planned moves between care settings.
Three ways to pay
Facilities and funded riders are set up once and billed after the fact. Everyone else pays before the trip.
- Post-paid accounts — monthly invoicing with full trip detail and your PO numbers
- ODSP — billed through a pay-direct arrangement so the rider isn't out of pocket
- Pre-paid trips — cash, debit or credit, arranged when you book
- Receipts issued for every trip, whichever way it is paid
Common questions
Are you an ambulance service?
No. CarePoint Transport is non-emergency transportation only. If someone needs medical care on the way, or the situation is an emergency, call 911.
Do you really run 24 hours?
Yes — day and night, weekends and holidays. Overnight trips are easier to guarantee when booked ahead.
